We are organising events to raise awareness of the construction industry and to encourage more young people to join the industry in the future.  Activities use construction as a context for learning and support the delivery of National Curriculum Subjects and the New Diploma in the Construction & Build Environment, as well as the development of Key Skills such as problem solving, decision making, team working, communication, organisation, time management, etc.

• Continuing Professional Development for school teachers, lecturers, career advisers
   
• Secondary School Activities for pupils of Key Stages 3 & 4 and New Diploma recruits
   
• Primary School Activities for pupils of Key Stage 1 & 2

Information about career paths and recruitment requirements into the industry are available.  Please contact the DCCC to discuss your requirements or if you look for industry support of your own projects.
