Hospitality & Catering

Introduction
The College already enjoys a worldwide reputation for exemplary hospitality and catering training, working with employers in the local area as well as further a field to include many of the top restaurants and hotels in London. The National Skills Academy for Hospitality has given recognition of the high quality Professional Cookery Diploma that is delivered through the Bournemouth School of Hospitality and Food.


Specialist Resources
With over 5 professional training kitchens plus a bakery and patisserie kitchen, The College trains learners in a realistic environment servicing the renowned Escoffier restaurant that can serve over 60 covers in each sitting. On top of this the School of Hospitality and Food also has a Coastline Café and Brasserie serving less formal lunches. All our lecturers are industry specialists in their field with many years of experience that is reflected in their course delivery.


Forums and Employer panels
The Chefs’ Forum - Set up in 2006 to strengthen links between The College and the local hospitality industry and encourage catering professionals, in particular chefs, to join a professional forum established to promote culinary excellence.
