a leader in the global food industry, HR Manager Simon Wootten is repeating the company’s tailor made Routes to Success management development programme in collaboration with The Bournemouth and Poole College and Weymouth based trainers People and Strategy.
This bespoke course was devised last year in close consultation with the Kerry Foods HR team and endorsed by the Institute of Management and Leadership to customise the training to suit its organisational needs.
Simon explained “This is a long term investment both by Kerry Foods and our valued new managers, whose experience and continued commitment to excellence are pivotal to our operation. This is our second cohort, and we have been able to clearly measure the impact and benefits. Indeed we have promoted as a direct result of the first round of this training which has strengthened our management layer. The staff themselves agree it has opened their minds to more strategic thinking and stronger communication.”
The training contract is managed by Business Enterprise skills advisor Jacky Grant. Jacky added, “We’re delighted to continue working with Kerry Foods in developing their managers of the future.
