IT Learning Centre

The IT Learning Centre opened in November 2001.

richmandhouse_234 The Centre is situated a stone’s throw from Bournemouth town centre (map) providing students with easy access to IT training facilities. The Centre Manager, Tony Collins, explains how the Centre operates and what new students can expect to find when they enrol.

A new qualification has been created as a result of significant consultations, market research and trialling with employers and training companies across the country. ITQ will give greater choice and flexibility which means a better fit with the real world and real jobs.

Course Details

The course duration is a maximum of 48 weeks with attendance of a minimum of 4 hours per week.

Although this is a Level 2 course, it is constructed in a way that even if you have only minimal experience with computers, it will still be suitable.

The Course gives you the option to study the following options:

Microsoft Word Processing
Databases (Access)
Spreadsheets (Excel)
Artwork and Imaging (Publisher)
Presentation Graphics (Powerpoint)
Internet
Email (Outlook)

You will need you choose three units from the options above.
