Hot Glass Techniques (Glass Blowing) at The Bournemouth and Poole College
Now in its third year, Hot Glass Techniques (Glass Blowing) has established itself as a popular and successful course. Every student is treated as an individual, learning and refining their glass making skills.
This one year part time glass blowing course has been designed and is taught by master craftsman Rob Marshall. He aims to pass on this traditional skill to all his students, from relative novices to glass graduates. Some of his past students have gone onto MA courses at prestigious universities as a result of being nurtured in The College's outstanding environment.
Course Information
According to their own requirements, students will coordinate an individual programme of study under the supervision of the course tutor. A system of target setting and support will help students towards their own personal and professional goals.
This course will offer students the opportunity to acquire and develop a wide range of glass blowing skills and design related activity.
