International Health and Social Care students, part of the Project India programme saw the sights of Edinburgh on a cold winters day.
On the 9th Decemeber 2008, Shailja O'Leary, Linda Ladle and Sue Richards took 6 international students on a day trip to Edinburgh for a Cultural Enrichment Day. (see pictures below)
They flew from Bournemouth airport and saw the Edinburgh Christmas lights, Christmas market, visited Edinburgh Castle and let the students soak in the Christmas atmosphere.
Shailja said,
"We all had such a great day. The students were hoping to see snow, but at least they got to see it on the mountain tops. It was a great opportunity for students to bond. Everyone got the chance to really get to know each other and get into the Christmas spirit. The day was such a success that we are planning more Cultural Enrichment Days."
This is one of the many benefits of studying on the Project India programme in the UK.
